What is SOAR, and do I need it if I already have MDR?
SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) is the layer that automates playbook execution — containment, enrichment, ticketing, customer notification. If you have MDR, SOAR is the engine inside it. WIT ONE's MDR uses MAESTRO + Sentinel as the SOAR layer, but we also offer SOAR as a standalone for customers who want to keep their existing SOC and just add automation.
How long does it take to build a custom playbook?
Standard playbooks (phishing, ransomware, account compromise, lost device) deploy on day one. Custom playbooks for your specific environment typically take 2-4 weeks of joint design with your team. MAESTRO can compose multi-step workflows declaratively, so most customizations don't require code.
